These Vintage Hand-Carved Buddha Statues are made from suar wood in Ubud, Bali by an Artisan family specially for AW. . Please note: These are no ordinary statues, They under go a special drying process where the surface of the carving is repeatedly char-burned and then polished and skilfully painted to create this unique pastel vintage finish.

The time and care and processes to make these statues is really special. Obviously more expensive than the Buddha range we have been proud to import for many years (see links below) but we think when you see and touch these pieces you will (and customers will) appreciate the difference.
