It's not called Reindeer Moss because it comes from Reindeers, but a type of moss that reindeers just love to forage. And crafty people everywhere also just love to make arty things with this beautiful material.
This is stabilised denatured moss. There are various grades and we believe this is one of the best. It will retains its colour and texture for years without the need care, which creative folk will love.
Available in 14 Vibrant Colours: Grass Green, Light Grass, Mint Green, Moss Green, Snow White, Natural Vibes, Yellow, Orange, Lavender, Pink, Blue, Fire Red, Charcoal Grey, and Black.
It can be used to create moss artworks, not only as standalone art pieces but also as part of a larger design concept. Ideal to use with terrariums and molten glass.
1st Grade Quality: This reindeer moss is of the highest quality soft, vibrant, and long-lasting, making it a great choice for your customers. You can make a lovely display in store - let you customers select straight from the boxes.
Each box contains at least 500g of Reindeer Moss - weight might vary but the volumes are similar.
This standard of moss sells for around £9 / 100 - you can make your own retail packs or sell pick and mix by weight or volume if you provide small bags. A box should return around £55 at £9/100gm.
How much Decorative Reindeer Moss do I need?
Use of Decorative Moss per 1m2 is approximately 4-8kg. Consumption is very individual - it depends on the method of gluing and the style in which you create your own picture or other product. After removing the roots, you can glue the entire rest of the plant to the base, or for a more elegant effect, you can use only the upper parts of the moss (in this case, the consumption is higher).

0.1 m2 (32x32 cm) - 400-800g
0.2 m2 (40x50 cm) - 800g-1.6kg
0.32 m2 (40x80 cm) - 1.2kg-2,5kg
0.5 m2 (50x100 cm) - 2kg-4,0kg
1.0 m2 (100x100 cm) - 4kg-8.kg
Can Moss be used in the bathroom?
Yes, moss is also suitable for the bathroom, as it likes high humidity.
Is it possible to use moss outdoors?
We strongly do not recommend it - stabilised mosses are intended for interior use. If you would still like to place it outside, only under a canopy, pergola, etc. However, a significant reduction in service life must be expected.
How long does moss last on a wall or in a picture?
Moss is very durable and can last up to 10 years (or even more). The advantage of stabilised mosses and plants is that they require almost no maintenance
What and how are the mosses glued to the base?
We recommend gluing the moss with hot melt sticks or special glue florists glues.
