At AW we have been trading with Nepal artisans for a relatively short time. David first visited Kathmandu in 2018 and has been making regular trips (with a brake for covid) ever since. Carefully over the years we have built up good trading relations with about 10 artisan family businesses that we please to support. You can follow David's Travel Blog here and involve yourself in the process.
The artisans of Nepal produce some wonderful gift lines. Hemp Products are famous and always sell well. Singing Bowls crafted here are considered to be generally of better quality than Indian. Felt Products from Nepal are trending now, and some immensely creative designers are make beautiful things. Everyone just adores the Little Felt Sheep, and they sell very well. They have a distinctive take on Incense and some Nepali Incense in your range adds something a bit different. Consider the Rope Incense.
You might like the idea of creating a Nepali Corner in your store, and decorate it with Prayer Flags to get that Himalayan look and feel. They bring good karma and even better sales..
Nepali people we have found are humble gentle people a delight to do business with. Thank you for supporting the Artisans of Nepal. Namaste!
